FROM THE DEPTHS OF OBLIVION

Nay, your eyes do NOT deceive you!  I am back - for good this time.  I have been slowly returning for a few months now, and was planning to officially return once I cleared out my inbox of all deviations.  Well, the process is much too slow for my tastes, and I've spent enough time away from DeviantART as it is... so I've decided to make a return before then, instead!  In previous journals, I had stated that I would be uploading an 'Official Journal' (journals like these) once every two weeks.  I have decided against that now, as real life and lack of content to talk about get in the way of this.  However, I DO still plan on posting an 'Official Journal' at LEAST once every month.  The reason I say at LEAST once every month is in case there is a lot of content to talk about in one month, that requires me to split the journals up.  I will also be responding to everything (comments, notes, et cetera) sooner than I used to be.  I may take a few days as it is right now (because I have quite a bit stocked up at the moment ), but I will be responding soon.  And I have lots of deviations in my inbox from some of you... expect a Fave Storm coming your way soon!



In one of my previous journals before my departure, I had asked you all for some suggestions for ideas of poems and short stories, as well as possible challenges.  I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN!  I have saved all of these in a document, and shall post them here for reference:
little-blind-mouse - You have challenged me to help you complete our collab, "Timeless Winds".  We're slowly getting it done, but hey, we're getting it done. 
Dragon-Demygod - You have challenged me on two different topics.  The first of which is to try a series of either short stories or poems (or both) about either time or dimensional travel.  The second one is to make a poem based on the ORIGINAL definition of sloth: "simply not caring, rather than not doing anything or being lazy".
Diluculi - BFP Anniversary Challenge  Yeah, this was due back in July of 2013, so I kinda failed on that one.  Oops...



"Hmm... Mateys, what the bloody hell have ye all been doin'?!  When I had [unofficially] returned to this site fer th' first time, I saw that th' First Bounty had yet to be claimed.  I found this strange, an' wondered if I had simply missed th' submission... YET I WAS ABLE TO CLAIM IT!  While I'd been glad to be able to claim th' bounty, I'd also been DISAPPOINTED in all of ye!  What're ye loafs standin' 'round fer?!  I had submitted me version on November 1st, whereas the journal was submitted on July 18 of the same year.  People commented nearly immediately after the bounty'd been posted, sayin' they be int'rested... yet nearly 5 months later, no one had done anythin'!  WHICH IS WHY I'M RAISIN' THE STAKES!

I won't lie; I want these doubloons to add to me own Bounty!  What pirates be we if we ain't got any treasure?!  That's why I'm plannin' on claimin' ev'ry single bounty that is posted.  However, I do wish to be fair to all of ye who be slower artists than I, so I shall give ye all SIX WEEKS to claim the bounty after every one that I claim!  Fer example: I claimed th' first bounty, so I can't be claimin' the second bounty 'til December 13, 2014.  That be six weeks EXACTLY since that bounty'd been posted.  Note that if someone claims this bounty 'fore I do, then I will be able to claim the next one at any time I wish - though I typic'ly won't be startin' 'til one week after it be posted, to give everyone a fair chance.

The main reason I shall claim these bounties six weeks after they be announced if no one else has claimed it is 'cause WE SHOULD BE COLLECTIN' THESE BOUNTIES TO ADD TO OUR OWN!  Don't ye want to see yer own Bounty one day?  'Sides, what good does lettin' th' bounty go to waste do?  So get to work, ye lazed seadogs, lest ye suffer th' wrath of bein' broke ferever!

Which also brings me to me next point... I'd also been th' only pyrate to complete th' Captain's Prompt fer October! (Proof)  While I'd like to say it'd just been a lazy month fer the rest of ye... THERE AIN'T BEEN MUCH MORE SUBMISSIONS SINCE THE MONTHS I'D [unofficially] RETURNED!  I'd returned sometime in August... that's three months!  I'm goin' to be personally workin' on each monthly prompt, an' claimin' me doubloons fer them... an' shall be claimin' doubloons on all works related to our crew startin' from th' first bounty.  So who thinks they can be beatin' me Bounty?   In addition, I'm goin' to be makin' a sorta challenge/contest.  It shall involve completin' ALL 2015 monthly Captain's Prompts!  More details shall be revealed later, but there can be multiple winners!  So ye'd only be rewarded fer completin' them!  Dependin' on how many people seem int'rested [LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS JOURNAL SAYING "HYPE" IF YOU ARE INTERESTED], the specific rules/reward may change.  Th' more hype, th' better!  As stated 'fore, I'll person'ly be participatin' in this [though I obviously can't reward myself ], so we already be havin' one hype!  I be lookin' ferwerd to seein' yer submissions!"

FUTURE BOX

As some of you may remember, I used to have a box that said "Future Box" in my previous 'Official' journals.  I was asking for suggestions for these boxes from all of you, and so far I've gotten one response on them.  I think it's a good suggestion, so I'll be integrating Diluculi's idea of having a box for works that I'm CURRENTLY working on.  It shall be called "Projects" from hereon out.  While I'd love to make a box that has every single idea I have down, I know that some of the ideas would never be worked on, and I have waaaaay too many ideas floating around as it is.  I do have a place to contain [most of] them, but posting them in one journal would literally continue on for about 100 MS Word pages or so.

That said, there's always room for improvements with this journal.  Like the box that's titled "Aisuru" states, I am always looking for ways to improve these journals: I can add in more boxes, I'd love to hear suggestions for ways I can improve these journals (if you think there's any way I should), and I'm fine with conversing about overall topics!  So don't be afraid to suggest something!
